Shadow-Shield

Shadow Shield is a unique Pokémon ability primarily associated with the Legendary Pokémon Lunala. This ability provides a substantial defensive advantage when the Pokémon is at full health. Specifically, Shadow Shield reduces the damage taken from any attack by 50% when the Pokémon's HP is at its maximum.

This damage reduction effect only works when the Pokémon's HP is full, making healing moves, items such as Sitrus Berry, and the use of moves like “Protect” or “Roost” strategically significant to maintain this benefit during battles. Once the Pokémon has taken some damage, and its HP drops below 100%, Shadow Shield will no longer reduce incoming damage.
